Listen
A Pathway for learning to hear and trust your own voice
Once you begin paying closer attention to yourself, a different difficulty can appear.
You notice an instinct, desire or idea, but immediately question whether you can trust it. Something keeps pulling at your attention, but you don’t know what it means. Fear speaks with just as much conviction as intuition. Old stories, assumptions and expectations get mixed up with what you’re actually experiencing.
It can be surprisingly difficult to tell which voice is yours.
Listen looks closely at what happens when we try to hear ourselves more clearly.
Through a series of focused lessons, we explore intuition, attention, symbolism and the different ways our inner experience communicates with us. We look at what can make our own voice difficult to recognise, why certainty can feel so tempting, and how discernment develops when we learn to stay curious about what we notice rather than immediately dismissing it or treating it as truth.
Tarot and creative practice give you ways to explore these processes in your own experience, following images, feelings, patterns and unexpected connections to see what they might reveal.
The aim isn’t to become someone who always knows what their intuition is telling them.
It’s to build a stronger relationship with your own voice, so you can hear what arises, stay curious about it and become more able to decide what it means for you.
You might be here because…
You notice instincts, ideas or desires, but quickly start questioning whether you can trust them.
You find yourself looking outside yourself for reassurance, permission or the “right” answer before acting on what you already sense.
You struggle to tell the difference between intuition, fear, expectation and the stories you’ve learned to tell yourself.
Something keeps catching your attention, but you’re not sure whether it means anything or what to do with it.
You want to trust yourself more, without feeling like you have to treat every feeling or impulse as an instruction.
Or you’re curious about your own inner language: the images, symbols, feelings and patterns through which something in you might already be speaking.
Listen is a place to get closer to your own voice, and develop a more trusting, curious relationship with what you hear.
What is Listen?
Listen is a self-guided Pathway exploring what it means to recognise your own voice and develop a stronger relationship with what you hear.
Because listening to yourself isn’t always as simple as following your intuition.
Our inner experience can be noisy. Fear, desire, expectation, memory and instinct can all speak at once. We can dismiss something because we can’t explain it, or become so determined to find the “right” meaning that we stop paying attention to what we’re actually experiencing.
Listen slows that process down.
Through a series of focused lessons, we look at how intuition and attention work, how meaning forms through images and symbols, what can interfere with our ability to hear ourselves clearly, and how discernment develops without requiring absolute certainty.
Tarot gives us a particularly rich place to practise. Instead of rushing towards a fixed interpretation, you’ll learn to notice what catches your attention, follow unexpected connections and stay curious about what an image might be opening up for you.
Creative practice gives you another way to explore what you notice, allowing meaning to emerge through making and experimentation as well as thought.
Listen isn’t about learning to receive perfect answers from somewhere inside yourself.
It’s about becoming more able to hear what’s there, explore it with curiosity and decide for yourself what deserves to be taken seriously.
What’s Inside
Listen is made up of a series of self-paced lessons that look closely at what happens when we begin paying more attention to our own inner experience.
Inside, we explore themes such as:
recognising the different ways your own experience might be speaking to you
intuition, attention and what catches your notice
the noise that can make your own voice difficult to hear
uncertainty, interpretation and the desire to find the “right” meaning
symbolism, imagery and the connections we make between things
developing discernment without needing absolute certainty
Each lesson combines reflective teaching with tarot practices, journalling prompts and creative practice, giving you different ways to explore how these ideas show up in your own experience.
There’s no need to arrive already knowing how to “trust your intuition.”
Listen is somewhere to practise paying attention, following what catches your interest and discovering how your own inner language speaks.
